Community Involvement

Embracing Community Spirit

At Isle of Capri Casinos, we believe in being good neighbors. This means, in addition to donating funds and support services to community groups, we also encourage our employees to be actively involved in the communities in which we operate. Our company founder, the late Bernard Goldstein, felt so strongly about community spirit that we launched Community AcesSM, our charitable giving and volunteer program, honoring his legacy.
Lady Luck® Casino recently made a generous gift to the Crossing Rivers Health Foundation, formerly known as Prairie du Chien Memorial Hospital Foundation. Lady Luck‘s pledged gift of $5,000 will help to fund the construction of a new state-of-the-art medical center which will serve the region of Southwest Wisconsin and Northeast Iowa.

Jim Smith, Foundation board president commended the casino for the great level of involvement and support they provide to the region. “The Foundation board and I thank Lady Luck Casino for their investment toward the new medical center project, which will have a great and lasting impact on our communities,” said Smith.

The casino regularly contributes to area organizations and causes which focus on health and wellness, community development and enjoyment. Last year alone the casino contributed over $175,000.00 to the community and to worthwhile causes in the region.

“Lady Luck Casino is pleased to support the construction of the new medical center in Prairie du Chien, which serves a great portion of northeast Iowa, as well as residents in Wisconsin.” stated Don Ostert, general manager, Lady Luck Casino. “The hospital provides much needed health care for the area and the new facility will have a large impact on the local economy.”
